Welcome Piper, you will be a great dog. Settling in a new home (even the very best home for a dog) can be tough after coming from a not so good place and bad experiences.
My Hailley was very nervous when we got her, she left the shoes alone, but did ruin two remote controls and disfigured a third one! Pencils and pens were also not safe if left within her reach. She is a happy and at ease dog now.

April

Silly dog, maybe she's too smart for her own good. :) That would be great if only it weren't so annoying some times.

Lisa

oh, Piper. You look to be a handful!
She will settle in soon (she knows she's got a good thing goin' on...)

Lynette

She is gorgeous. Sounds like a very busy girl, with some plans!!!!

Megan

As long as she stays away from the yarn! What a pretty face. =)

dale

:-) Go girl, indeed.

Knittripps

Congratulations on your new dog. I am sure she will bring much joy to your family and hours of entertainment too!

ali

At least she's cute, right?! What fun! We're starting our search for a new dog, or two... I'm getting kind of anxious myself, maybe even more than the kids, lol!!

Happy knitting!

Donna

She looks like she's full of love and mischief. Just as a dog should be. Congrats on your new family member.

Marnie

She's gorgeous and clearly a handful. Good luck and congrats.

Eden McGrew

Yay! Give her big hugs... I look forward to meeting her......someday ;-)

Wow, it sounds remarkably similar to my day!

SpecialKWI

Wow! Two of y favorite things. The name Piper, my daughter's name and a humane society special.

Krista

I love your photos. Would you mind telling me what camera you're using (maybe it's just your innate picture taking skills!)?

Lauren

Hey there,

I love reading your blog, have been doing so for over a year, though don't comment very often. Your photography always cheers me up. Hope you'll be back soon!

I am wondering where you are?

Sara

I am wondering, too. It's like I am missing a friend, only you don't know me. I would like to think you are busy training the new pup.
