Welcome Piper, you will be a great dog. Settling in a new home (even the very best home for a dog) can be tough after coming from a not so good place and bad experiences.
My Hailley was very nervous when we got her, she left the shoes alone, but did ruin two remote controls and disfigured a third one! Pencils and pens were also not safe if left within her reach. She is a happy and at ease dog now.

Silly dog, maybe she's too smart for her own good. :) That would be great if only it weren't so annoying some times.

oh, Piper. You look to be a handful!
She will settle in soon (she knows she's got a good thing goin' on...)

At least she's cute, right?! What fun! We're starting our search for a new dog, or two... I'm getting kind of anxious myself, maybe even more than the kids, lol!!
Happy knitting!

She looks like she's full of love and mischief. Just as a dog should be. Congrats on your new family member.

I love your photos. Would you mind telling me what camera you're using (maybe it's just your innate picture taking skills!)?

Hey there,
I love reading your blog, have been doing so for over a year, though don't comment very often. Your photography always cheers me up. Hope you'll be back soon!

I am wondering where you are?

I am wondering, too. It's like I am missing a friend, only you don't know me. I would like to think you are busy training the new pup.
