The baby sweater is looking great, and giving me a really good idea of how small and pudgy this little body will be when it comes along. How cute.
I made myself work on it while I watched Nurse Betty, because a) I love this yarn and want to have this sweater for the unit to wear one day, b) it's ultra simple to knit while watching movies, and c) I need to prove to myself that I can finish something. Even something very tiny.
Nonetheless I went and exchanged some yarn today at Yarn Garden and got Lite Lopi in Black Heather to make a Ribby Cardi. At $3.50 a skein I even ended up with a store credit. I spent zero dollars. Nice. (Jessica, you can add me to your list!)
Out of the 7 or 8 pregnant women I mentioned before - the ones I met through Sarah - two had babies this week, on the same day. There are two new wonderful nameless girls in Portland tonight! Happy birthday sweet ones.
What yarn is that sweater? It does look really cute.
I'll add you to the list. :)

That's going to be a beautiful sweater. This is my first visit to your site, but I'm definitely going to put it on my bloglines list because we have a lot in common in regards to knitting - I took one look at your wish list and laughed becuase I just bought both the Bobbi Bear pattern and the sock pattern you are wishing for! :) Keep up the great knitting.
