$6
- It takes either 1 or 2 skeins of Malabrigo Merino Worsted, to make a scarf approximately 52" or 88" long (by 4.5" wide).
- It is reversible. The edging is a knitted-on i-cord that rolls to smooth out both edges.
- The knit and purl swirl pattern causes a scallop effect along the length of the scarf.
- And get this, I recommend that you not block it! Or block very gently so as not to kill the stitch definition and the scalloping.
I hope you decide to give it a try. I'm so happy with how it came out. A tribute to the late Mabel's Cafe & Knittery that I can be proud of.
I love it! Great!

HI THERE...for some reason, I cannot buy this pattern to download...link won't work. Looks like I'm not the only one having problems, so hopefully whatever the glitch is will be fixed soon! THANKS!

I just bought and downloaded your pattern, but then I had a problem with my computer and had to close firefox, and I can't open the pattern file any more. Can you either send me the file or refund my money so that I can purchase it through ravelry instead of through your blog and see if that works? Thanks!

I was wondering...Would I, someone who's never knitted before, be able to make your Mabel scarf? Thanks! : )
